CoD 4: MWF ONLINE Guide

First We will start off with a list of perks for your weapons. (The level is listed after the name)

Perk 1:

Bomb Squad (14)
Helps If you like rush in and slaughter Sniper nests. Not one of my Favorites.

C4 Explosives x2 (2)
Ok If your on a small map and you know where your enemies are for sure. Great for experienced players.

Claymore x 2
My Favorite perk, Great for snipers, put them in a doorway and 1 10 feet behind you. Or, in headquarters, put them in the doorways. Best in perk 1 area.

RPG-7 x 2
Ok if your playing on a wide open map, or if your team gets pwned and they call in a copter every 30 seconds. Not that great, good for beginning players.

Special Grenades x 3
Name is sorta self-explanatory. You get 3 special grenades, best used with stun 'nades.

Frag x 3 (41)
For all you random 'Naders out there, this gives you 3 frags. Great for the loser of the group.

Bandolier (32)
X-TRA AMMO!!!! So you can "Spray 'N Pray" for longer times.

Perk 2:

Juggernaut (1)
You can take far more damage then usual. Many snipers will hate you for this. If playing Free-For-All, you will be discriminated.

Sleight of Hand (20)
Use with Bandolier for "Pray 'N Spray". makes you reload your weapons much faster. Good with Snipers sometimes.

Stopping Power (1)
Gives you more power, good with high fire rate weapons with low power. Good for Snipers too.

UAV Jammer (11)
You don't appear on your enemies radar. Great for Cage matches.

Sonic Boom (1)
Gives your explosives more power. More range too, use this with martydom too make people very angry at you.

Overkill (38)
THE BEST PERK IN THE GAME. You can have 2 primary weapons. Go ahead be a sniper with a shotgun. Worth all the effort.

Double Tap (29)
You can also use this with bandolier. Makes your rate of fire slightly faster. "Pray 'N Spray"

Perk 3:

Extreme Conditioning (1)
Lets you sprint for a far longer time, gets you were you need to be faster. Not recommended.

Steady Aim (1)
Better accuracy, well, better when running, huge waste.

Last Stand (8)
Well, ummm, When you die you get some last shots on the person who killed you...with your pistol. Only use this when you get the desert eagle. But, by then, you won't need it. Useless.

Deep Impact (1)
lets you shoot through walls, Great if your a sniper and someone ducks down to regen. Pretty good, I use it sometimes.

Dead Silence (44)
Makes you unheard, great for the ninja type of players. Worth it.

Iron Lungs (26)
Lets you hold your breath for longer if you are a sniper. Use it with the .50 cal. Good for sniping pansy's.

Martyrdom (17)
The infamous Martyrdom. Drops a live grenade when killed. Most players online have learned not to tea bag an enemy now, or else, you get you sack blown off.

Prestige:
Prestige mode is unlocked at level 55. You go back down to level 1, with the same old crappy weapons. I found this picture of all the prestige medals:



***Every prestige is like getting to level 55, so in-term you have to get to level 55 10 times to get a golden cross by your name***

GOLD WEAPONS:


Gold Weapons require EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE in the Challenges in a particular weapon category to be completed to unlock. EX: all the assault rifle marksmanship and expert challenges must be completed to unlock the golden AK-47. There are other gold weapons in the game: Mini Uzi, M60E4, Shotgun, and the Dragonov.
**The golden D-Eagle is unlocked at level 55 no matter what**



n00b TIPS

1. If you see a golden weapon laying on the ground don't pick it up and yell "Look what i gots!!!"

2. Look on your mini-map, it can save you.

3. When looking at your mini-map, make sure the 'chopper isn't yours before you shoot it down.

4. Don't shoot the jets.

5. Try not to say "homo" every 10 seconds.

6. Don't argue, no one will like you.

7. Don't team kill.

8. DO NOT THROW SMOKE WHERE YOUR SNIPERS ARE

The numbers represent the rank you have to be to get that certain perk/weapon .

But there are a few corrections to make - I know of at least one off hand...

The AK-47 is also Level 1. You can choose it when you pop in the game for the first time and hit Xbox Live .

Matter of fact, I think you mixed up AK-47 and MP5.

i think its an alright review, but i disagree with the perk choices sometimes. for instance when he says overkill is the best perk in the game - i would disagree. it depends what u are looking to achieve. but overall its a pretty solid guide.


something you could add are class ideas, and combinations that work well i.e. P90 silenced, bomb squad, uav jammer, dead silence.

I agree though that Overkill is not even close to the best perk in the game.

Stopping Power, just off the top of my head, is another great perk for the 2nd section.

Also, Sleight of Hand is amazing for LMG's...how could you not mention those, lol xD.

Solid guide as mentioned but I can tell your style and my style of playing are completely different (judging from perks).
Something I'd like to add for the perks:
X3 Special is great when you use flash granades. I have a special "Ninja" class which is:
M16 (Or G36c) With silencer
x3 Special or Bandolier
UAV Jammer
Dead silence or Extreme Conditioning.

I change those perks around depending on the game (Sabotage, Team Hardcore, Regular Deathmatch).
