worth it to get xbox live?

alright, i'm having troubles deciding if i should get xbox live for my regular xbox that i just bought from my best friend for 20 bucks. i was all psyched up when i got it, but i looked at the bungie website and there are only 2 thpusand ppl playing halo 2 atm. now i played halo 3 a few nights ago and even with 100k ppl playing it took 4 ever to get a game together, how long does it take on h2 live? i know there are other games to play online, but how many ppl will still be playing in a few months? plz help me out, hopefully with posotive encouragement.

Depends on what you like, Do you like Halo 2 more than Halo 3.

How fast are your games, What do you prefer more.

I'd definitely get Halo 3, One you get used to it I'd be faster to get joining games.

Even if PSN is free, XBL is a much better system, you have to admit Jorgi xD.

It's most certainly worth it - you find some good buds there, bro; i've known a lot of my buds on there for 2 years now...woulda known some more than 5 years if i had figured out how to convert my old gamertag to my 360 xD.

But yes; it's definitely the best social experience you can get in a videogame...seriously. I actually had an awesome discussion about religion, politics, immigration, animal rights, and many other things just last night with a guy I've known for a year's buds.

i was told u could, forgive me if i'm wrong (i'm not the most up to date person on that obviously). n e way, i made up my mind to break down and get an xbox 360(halo3 edition cuz it has better internals). so now my question is how much is xbox live for a year? yes im a noob......=(

You can get a pre-paid card for 12 months plus a free month for $50. You can also do it month-by-month if you have a credit card, but it's slightly more expensive.

On H2 It is pretty quick but only problem is sometimes when theres too many people on it comes up with soem message saying its updating some files which is complete crap.

Its not worth it. Its stupid paying for internet 40 dollars a year for xbox live... Ps3 has free internet access and no multiplayer fees.

Noone wants to pay more.
