You could just solve your problem once and for all by throwing it in the garbage and getting a console that doesn't suck

Good consoles don't break. Hence why my Nintendo still works.

Yeah, finnaly got my xbox 360 back Just got it yesterday :P
an yeah man, we gotta play soon, i havent played with anyone from GL yet. An yeah, I do play Halo 3 and COD 4, lol

its true, microsoft have quiete the reputation for making stuff that breaks a lot. My NES and N64 still work perfectly.

i want a 360, how common is the Red Ring, you hear a lot about it, but i dont think any of my freinds have had it.

My first console lasted from release day until I think about May of this year, which is when it finally got the red rings >.< I wasn't upset though, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

--Honestly, the red ring, is partily the owners fault. its when u dont give the xbox, suffient room to vent an circulate air, overheat , You get the red ring, once it has gone far enough to melt a chip. for the first six month, I had my xbox 360, standing up, ontop my dresser, then I moved, an it was laying down on a shelf for my TV. with in two weeks of it now getting suffient air, RED RING :"(. But of for friend with an xbox, most of there last about a year and a half, then had to get it repaird, then never had any problems since.
--But my friend devin, his xbox 360 is so old, the cable to plau it in is standard definition only, then not even a switch to HD. An he just got a red ring about a month and a half ago( spent a week at his aunts while his moth was away.) His xbox got restricted air supply , RED RING :P So, in a sence you may be what determines if you ever even get the red ring at all.
