I think we should try advertisment not like on a site like Gamefaqs.com but have banners and stuff on other sites we use like myspace face book Ect.Ect.

just tell what you guys think (just an idea)

That would basically kill the site, because people dislike that.

I remember you had to log onto GL just to get rid of the ads, and that sucked.

If we could try more passive and more clean ways....

Agreed with BN, I want good members looking a forum to join, not people who come here who know bugger about a forum....

First of all do you know how much $$$ it costs per click to advertise on sites like that?

Also ads are not something that members look at.

I say that in terms of advertising, google is our best resource, and not ads.

VBSEO all it does is change ... for example

http://www.gamelair.com/gameforums/forumpost-2132

into something like

http://www.gamelair.com/gameforums/wow-your-a-noob

And turns the link into something like

Wow Your A Noob - Game Lair

And some other stuff to do with Spiders / Bots / Crawlers
