That's why you cut your hair short, like mine. (Kind of a fade-ish) I don't have to do anything in the morning, just shower, eat breakfast, brush teeth, leave.

Mine is short too, but I use gel and wax. Won't leave the house without it.

Mostly I use catzy Hairspray, it is the best, the loreal doesn't work well.
