Look for the est deal. I would advise a slim, since they have a big HDD and are supposedly more reliable and can be found with good deals. However, you can pick up a fat pretty cheaply now, i did.

As for games, that's down to preference, but there is plenty to chose from now.

I'd go with the regular thicker version of the PS3, and not the slim (but that's just me); and the games? Well, that's basically all up to you.
