The Weird World of Oblivion

Anyone else have any odd experiances while playing Oblivion?

One time in Bruma I entered the pub, planning on stealing some simple stuff, just to meet the fencing requirement for the thieves guild. Theres about 5 people inside, one is sitting down and drinking. I make my guy wait for 5 hours so it's night time and people will leave, but instead once the loading screen finishes the guy sitting down drinking gets up, pulls out an axe and starts attacking people! Everyone in the bar starts pounding on him and they kill him, then go back to what they were doing. I was confused at first but I laughed at how random it was.

That's pretty neat.

I never really played much of Oblivion.

Never knew it had those kind of physics and random events.

On my brothers game, he was walking to somewhere, I can't remember where. Then suddenly two gaurds came out of no where chasing two other people. Once the gaurds killed the people, the gaurds battled to the death and the gaurd who won just went back to his post.

On my archer I started firing arrows out into the sky in sneak mode and I got a sneak attack bonus on something...never did find out what it was.

lol, both stories made me laugh. I didn't know the developers had that kind of sense of humor...or is it just a glitch?

Also, I was getting chased by guards one time and I ran inside the arena to try to get away but everyone in the arena started pounding on the guards and killed them 0.o...don't know if it was because I was the Champion or what, but it was funny.

LOL I havn't come across anything like this yet. Some of it can be accounted as glitches but they all seem to sound like mechanics in the game. The guard one is a glitch, the two guards should have walked away together rather than fight to the death. Ah well, it would be funny to watch at least

I never played the game much. As soon as I got out of that underground cave/prison thing I just messed around. I took someones horse but I didn't realize that everyone in the world of Oblivion would be after me.

lol all these story's are funny and yeah i saw the guard chasing someone before it was funny
