Medal of Honor: Airborne [Review]

Medal of Honor: Airborne is an excellent war game. All though it's another game based on World War II, it's still amazing, despite the negative reviews it recieved.

The big thing about Medal of Honor: Airborne is you can pretty much go wherever you please in your parachute. If you hit a checkpoint, say you destroyed all the AA guns, and died, when you restart back up, you're in a parachute and go to your next objective instead of walking. Like all FPS's, it's very fast-paced.

Medal of Honor:Airborne takes you through some of the most memorable Airborne missions that took place in World War II.

The accuracy is off. Like for the M1 Garand and all those types of rifles, but you can upgrade three times for each gun and grenade which will increase accuracy. (I don't know about grenades) But with a Thompson fully upgraded, all hell breaks lose with your divine power and the incedible rate of fire. There are many good guns, like the Bar and Ak-47(It has a different name in the game), but Thompson definetly stands out the most.

You're allies have proven useful in combat as they help you succeed and make everything go a little easier. There are 10 different ranks of enemies, 1 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest. And believe me, the guys who are ranked 10 (They carry this sort of mini-gun) take almost a whole clip with the Thompson (After fully upgrading it so you have a 50-round clip instead of 30) to the torso to take them down.\

Medal of Honor:Airborne gives you a good challenge. All though it only has six maps, it still will not dissapoint you.

Concept: Shoot Nazis, the basics.

Graphics: The details are brilliant in a lot of cases.

Sound: The sound of the gunfire is amazing.

Playability: The controls are excellent and smooth.

Entertaiment: Really good. Better than Call of Duty 3.

Replay Value: Moderate

Rating: 8.75/10.

Thank you. And yes, it is a very good game. Not worth buying, but it's worth renting.

Lmao, jk. I thought I had replied to this thread already, but nice review, even though you know my take on the parachute controls

. I believe they're fine...it wasn't THAT easy to control a parachute, lol.

Yea, they are not that big of a deal. But they could be better with turning and you should be able to hold A to go slower, not keep pressing it every three seconds.
