Interface: 10/10 Features:10/10 Sound Though Built-in Speakers: 4/10 Sound Though Headphones/exterior Speakers: 7/10 Game play: 6/10 Graphics: 10/10 Movie Playback Quality: 9/10 Internet: 6/10 Overrall: 7/10 Ive owned my PSP for almost a year now and have used it for everything it has to offer. The interface is really simple, a 5 year old is able to figure it out. For a handheld its features are unmatched. The DS can so far only play games, but the psp can play music, vidoes, games, view pictures, and go on the internet. Sound though the built speakers isnt very good. It has no bass or treble to them. Sound though headphones or external speakers has more vibrant sound than an IPOD. The down side is that the sound doesnt go very high. Game play the game play can be better but UMDs have hardly anyspace to utilize the full potental of what the PSP can do with gameplay. Graphics i have to say is WAY better than the DS. Its like your playing it off of a PS2 or Xbox. Movie playback i have to say is just as good as a DVD player hooked up to your TV. Internet isnt very good. All you can really to is look at pictures and browse certain websites that arent that big. You cant watch Vidoes or go to huge sites like a myspace profile. The PSP only has 3MB of RAM and cant stream music or BIG vidoes. Rather use my computer for web browsing. Its good to have when your at a hotel that offers free internet and you dont have a laptop or something. | |||||||||||

PSP is a good portable system, but stands no chance against the DS.

i disagree Its pretty sad nintendo can seem to leave the cartrages behind and move to CDs. I played a DS and was too thrilled by it. Didnt like the two screens. | |||||||||||

The two screens can take a little bit of getting used to, and a cartridge is awesome, I can chuck mine at the wall on the other side of the room as hard as I can, and it might not break. As for a CD? Pieces everywhere...

A game cannot survive solely on graphics. Good games that freaking own without graphics: FF7 Breath Of Fire 3 Legend Of Legaia Megaman Legends
