OK so I saw the movie and was instantly hooked. Ironman rocks. Then I bought the game and Whoa! I consider myself to be a pretty decent gamer but this game was a challenge. But I liked it. It pushed me and even though I didn't get it down right away and it took some practice to learn how to fly I found myself having a blast.




With Ironman you have to manage several things at once to execute your moves and progress through the game. Flying with the L2 button takes concentration. Pull L2 half way to hover and all the way to ascend. Let it go and you fall. Its the whole metal / gravity thing.



So dodging missiles, trying to catch jets and shoot down heli's while controlling your altitude is a little tricky.



Haven't finished the game yet but on my way. Lots of levels to go through and the bosses are tough as you progress into the game. Ironman has gotten some pretty stern reviews for its controlling complexity. It's pretty advanced and takes time to learn. It's worth it though if you can stick it out long enough to gain control.
its hard at first but then really rocks. If you pick up tips let me know. I am still struggling to finish the game.

Inferno Strike

It looks like it does rock and I will definitely rent it to find out. I like to now rent games before I assume they are good considering last time I bought a game I played it then never opened the game again.

i thought it was a good film, it beat spiderman imo.

something i was wondering, when he tests the suit for flight the first time he ises that tunnel which was already built, why did he have a tunnel for flying down, he didnt own nd airplane or anything

Yeah five guys. Were they the only bad people using his weapons in the whole world? And did he develop only three missiles? I just thought it was funny. No reason to get you undies in a bundle.

Inferno Strike

It could though become a disappointment. I know of times when I rented a game that was from a movie and it was not as good as it looked. It could just be the fact that all the movie producers want is a little more money in their pocket, which is what they would get from a video game that resembles the movie.

Though Iron Man is almost supposed to be a video game just like Spider Man and The Hulk. It is almost like it needs to have a video game.

I actually rather have the video game than the movie, which I watched and was actually pretty good. It seems as though video games are now the primary target of consumers. All they want is the money, which makes them turn there control to video gamers. Of course I don't blame them considering it has more money involved.

I have to do that too. I bought EQII and hated it. I couldnt believe I spent that much money. My husband made the rule that I have to try before I buy, so now I am a Gamefly member.

After reading what people said about this game, I think I want to go and try it out. I think it looks awesome, but I dunno. I tend to stay away from games that are based off of movies. But this game and movie is based off of the comics so it just might be a great game to try out. I dunno...
