| The Critic | Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is flat-out amazing. It has some of the best eviroments and facial details that I've ever seen in a Video Game. Now for people saying the Wii's graphics suck compared to the 360 and PS3, think again, your mind would be blown. This Resident Evil the story behind the downfall of the Umbrella Corporation and revisites scenarios from previous RE games. There are a total of 4 Main Chapters throughout the whole game, including 10 sub-missions which gives you 22 levels total. Eight characters are playable in The Umbrella Chronicles. Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and HUNK. SCENARIOS; TRAIN DERAILMENT. Train Derailment- This is from Resident Evil Zero in which you can play as Billy Coen and/or Rebecca Chambers. (I say "and/or" since it's 2-player compatability). It's split up into three levels. Beginnings- While you were in Train Derailment, this sub-mission shows what Albert Whesker was doing. The T-Virus escaped and Whesker must escape. He also betrayed the main antagonist, Vladamir, who sends a Tyrant named Ivan after Whesker, who barely survives. MANSION INCIDENT. Mansion Incident- From Resident Evil, which is split up into three missions and you can play as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Nightmare- I think this covers was Jill Valentine did after the REZero incident. She wakes up from a nightmare and is met up by Richard Aiken who are in search of the rest of the Bravo team. Later in the mission, they get attacked by the biggest snake ever and Richard takes his own life to save Jill. Rebirth- Whesker is at the Arklay Research Facility, he notices that the self-destruct thing has been turned on. I'm not too familiar with this level, but he changes his plans for something at the last minute and is at the exit in which he meets this one monster chick. He defeats her, than leaves just in time. RACOON'S DESTRUCTION Raccoon's Destruction- From Resident Evil 3, split up into 3 missions and you can play as Jill Valentine or Carlos Oliveira. Death's Door- This covers Ada's to bring the G-Virus to Whesker. Later, he contacts her and tells her she failed. But she brings a sample of tissue to Whesker and survived through giving information. Like "Nightmare," I'm not too familiar with this. Fourth Survivor- I think it's a retelling of a scenario in RE2. UMBRELLA'S END. Umbrellas End- This is a three-part mission. You can play as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine who are securing Umbrella's most important facility. Vladamir releases the T-Virus in the facility and Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine have to destroy the last project of Umbrella. Dark Legacy- I'm not familiar with this one, so I'll quote this from wikipedia; "As Chris and Jill unintentionally cause a diversion, Albert Wesker also infiltrates Sergei's stronghold with a much more insidious mission. Sergei soon confronts Wesker, and sends two of his Tyrants to kill him. Wesker proves to be more than a match for Ivan thanks to his superhuman abilities, and continues his infiltration of the facility. In the end, Wesker faces Sergei for the last time, who injects himself with a virus that mutates him into a monster. Wesker defeats him and steals all the data Umbrella accumulated over years of research, and then wipes the computer clean. By gaining the data, Wesker starts his plan to revive the Umbrella Corporation under his command, as revealed in Resident Evil 4 to be his main objective.[14] During and after the credits, more about the storyline is revealed. It is stated that the Umbrella Corporation was finally found guilty on all charges of its involvement in the Raccoon City outbreak, though the prosecution remained quiet about how they acquired the necessary information. As a key witness, an anonymous witness close to the suspect also implicated Ozwell E. Spencer personally, starting a global manhunt for the Umbrella founder. At the very end of the game, Wesker is shown entering the same command room that he uses in Resident Evil 4. He places all of the stolen Umbrella data into his computer, allowing him to take possession of all the company's assets and information, and promises that he will meet Spencer again and usher in a new era for himself. " This game hosts the Wiimote and Nunchuck, in which you can also put into the Wii Zapper for more accuracy in gameplay. You use both for dodging in boss battles and use the Wiimote to slash zombies and other enemies with your knife. Now this is a rail-shooter much like House of the Dead in which your character follows a "pre-set" path. All though you can still look around using the analog stick. You get a different ranking at the end of each completed level, "S" being the highest in which you need to obtain some sub-missions. The amount of destroyed items, obtained objects, files, critical hits and clear time affects this. This also makes UC incredibly addictive trying to achieve a higher rank, unlocking characters profiles, upgrading weapons, etc. You can play Co-Op in every main mission, not sub-missions. However, I think you can unlock co-op in every mission after completing something. There are a lot of bosses that are detailed to the max and are brilliant. All though some can be a pain in the ass. Concept- An amazing rail shooter like House of the Dead that features co-op play which enhances the entertaiment. Graphics- Some of the most amazing graphics I've ever seen. Up to Call of Duty 4 standards. This will change your mind on the Wii's "____ty" graphics and exploits how amazing they can be. Sound- The sound sets you into the right mood with this type of gameplay and the voice-acting is amazing. Playability- This game would suck without Motion-Sensor. The control-mechanics are fashioned very nicely. Entertainment- This kept me going for hours and hours and has great storylines from the original Resident Evil's. Even if you haven't played the previous ones, this one is a must-buy for the Wii. Length-This game is 15-20 hours on average, but it can last longer than that with it's addictive gameplay. Replay Value- High. No doubt. Overall Score-9.75/10. It would of scored perfect if it'd give you more time to look around and pick up stuff.

| The Critic | Well I'd never buy a console just for one game, but UC is just amazing. It's definitely one of the games that you HAVE to get if you buy a Wii.
