Should animals be tested for scientific purposes? i need help for this on my homeworks its an exposition.

so i need opinions such as why animals shouldnt be testes for scientific purposes so the question is

should animals be tested for scientific purposes? give me ur thoughts thx

Depends on wich animals, wich kinds of medicine and tests.
Does the animal get totrured?
Often or I think Only mouses get tested.
Is their life less worth then ours, can the value of ones life be ranged?
A mouse, he lives in the sewer, he eats ____, and dies after some years.
A human, lives in big houses, with modern technology, he has things and people to help him, he will live for over 70 years, and someone will care if he dies.

The mouse has no familly, he makes kids then leave his mother. But we don't know all that social stuff, and do animals have feelings?
Ofcourse they do, but I think mouses is one of the animals with least feelings and least to live for, so yeah, no problem for me to test on them, but if they start testing on rare animals like tigers and pandas

Yes, they should. Assuming that it's not an endangered species.

Reasons:
1. We have families, and loved ones.
2. We are the supreme power of Earth, WE decide what is done.
3. A human's life is worth much more than an animal's.
4. It's for the good of thousands of lives, compared to a rat.
5. How else would we advance? It would be too risky otherwise.

but if there were'nt much animals they would'nt be less products such as food, fur, and other stuffs.

and im talking about testing on any animal

I belive that no animal should be tested on, It's wrong...I'm sure the love the pain they go through...No animal diserves what the go through people wouldn't even think of doing It to other humans, theres laws for that!

Maybe the people who are doing the testing should feel the pain of the animals...They diserve It!

I'm guessing your posts means you're a vegetarian? Considering your last statement could interpret the people who kill the cows, pigs, etc, should die, too.

No actually I'm an animal rights activist, I belive that no animal should die just because of stupid people...And yeh I am a vegetarian to...And I belive thta all people that condone animal testing and the people who carry It out should die or atleat go thorough what they go thorough.

I guess but they don't suffer like the animals that are tested on do, I belive It's your own choice If you eat animals, aslong as you don't think that animal teating okay, but I guess It's people oppinions. It's up to you.

Well in ways, I'm against animal testing. Mainly for primates since my favorite animal is a monkey and they do humans no harm unless you provoke them to do so. But I just don't believe in eating meat should be a crime, like most vegans/vegetarians do. (I'm not pointing this generally towards you)

if testing an animal will make human life better and easier, i think it's worth the pain an animal, that has no real feelings, and they dont really matter to anyone, and it helps thousands of humans, who have significant lives, and have a meaning in life, where most animals are overpopulated and will die anyway for a less worthy reason...and it's not like were going around just slaughtering animals for no reason ethier
