Think God Is Truly Real?

First off, I'd like to point out that I don't want to cause harsh feelings, get myself banned, flame, or anything else like that. I hope that we can have an intelligent discussion on this. xD Not to mention that I'm protected by American laws anywhere, assuming that this site is hosted in the US. Freedom of religion ftw?

Now, onto the rant.

I do not think so. I am atheist, and have been so for about two years. I hope there is no discrimination, but I just think it would be a good idea to post what we think.

I hope this can be a forum of intelligence, where we can just post something other than "he just is."

My reasons:
We have found bodies that are 99 percent positive Man-Monkey hybrids.
Concrete Evidence shows that Earth was built over hundreds of millions of years, not in 7 days.
Even more powerful evidence shows that man was NOT the first life. Algae was.
There are hundreds of religions, why would ours be the only correct one?
Here's a good one. God says he made a man and a woman originally to keep each other company. Let's say that was in england. Why were there humans in America when we arrived? There was originally one continent that split into all the separate continents of today, but, there is no evidence that humans existed whatsoever in those days, just some insects and larger creatures such as dinosaurs.
Jesus' remains have never actually been found. There are believed locations, but none that are hardcore.
God never truly showed himself.
The three wise men were just rich people who happened to walk toward a star (They were probably drunk).
The people who "originally" worshipped god worshipped a golden bull soon afterwards. What does that tell you about the intelligence of the people who believed Jesus was god's son?

Morals:
If you've read the ACTUAL bible, and understood it, you may not even WANT to believe in him. The King James version is the version believed to be the actual truth by almost all religious followers. However, God gave horrible punishments, and killed many people. He aided his followers to kill others who did not have the religion preached to them, yet he says that anyone can be forgiven. Maybe he should have told his followers to make peace, and share. God also says "Thou shalt not kill", but that's exactly what he told his followers to do. "Thou shalt not steal", yet he helped his followers ransack towns as they moved across the desert.
If he is a true god, why does everyone have to suffer? This is not a god to worship, but a god to rebel against and attempt to overthrow.

Christians don't even know where Jesus is buried, much less have it proven. The bible is based on history, like the Israelis vs the Palestinians, but the "Godly actions" have NEVER been proved. Show me.

People say that nothing done with energy, that it goes to heaven. Have you heard of decomposition? Animals (People) rotting? And the ground is so ripe with energy that plants grow extremely well there? Where do you think that so expensive dirt from Wal-Mart comes from? Decomposed animals.

Everything was not "moved" into place during the Big Bang. After the Big Bang happened, it was just huge dust/gas/mineral clouds floating around, and the galaxy slowly formed. First came the suns, which could be placed anywhere in the galaxy, as long as they're by themselves, and then the gas that wasn't scorched by it (All the stuff in between our sun and Mercury) slowly formed together as they revolved around the sun. This is perfectly possible, about the same chances of an airplane flying over a junkyard and NOT turning into a 747.

(Btw, Smithsonian did not scientifically prove it, that's just a theory, not a law, so he could easily be wrong.)

And about Jesus and his legend..Nicholas, the original Santa Claus, didn't say he went down chimneys. He just gave away things each Christmas, and legend slowly formed over time. Same thing could have happened to Jesus...

I don't believe in god or any religion either. I believe in Buddhism tough but that isn't a religion.

Because I am an atheist I am against everything god is. I don't believe in him and you are suppose to smight the non-believers.

The Christian has some good things in it also: you should not harm, not kill and that stuff.
I am atheist to, but i still thinks that most of the things in the Christian religion is good stuff, but it is said,given,written,thought and expressed in a wrong way.

Well I oppose god, I don't know I have a terrible head ache and I am talking like Sean Connery. I am not against everything about it I just don't believe in it.

yeah I know I said it wrong I am just kind of sick of this argument if God is real or not. It's like why does he have to be real? Can you not set your own standards of decency and prosperity with out following some book? It seems like to me some people don't like not being told what to do.
