The ESRB Age Rating System.A peice of Dog turd if I ever saw one. Before you start going,"If dere wasn't a age rate people would be unsure of which games 2 buy" etc. Let me explain that there was a simpler time and place.A place where no-one cared about how old you were.I'm going to tell you a story:

Long ago there lived a console named the SNES.This console had everything.Good games,AWESOME graphics,even a swimming pool in its garden.BUT, one evil game decided to ruin everything.Its name... MORTAL KOMBAT.Mortal Kombat was a gory game,and it gave the government a decision: Either make a dumb age rating so no-one can enjoy the best games anymore until they were 18,when they were too busy to even THINK about gaming, or Die.Naturally,the government chose option 1,because they cared too much about their own sorry asses.And THAT,my friends,is why nobody can enjoy cool games anymore

Well, age rating is necessary so they don't get sued. If they didn't have it, GTA wouldn't have made it past the first one along with many other great games, cause they would all get sued for "hurting" their kids innocence or some **** like that.

Just give a friend 5$ to go in and buy it for you. ;D That always works. Or just ask your parents if you can't find anyone. Perhaps maybe you can convince them to buy you an M Rated game.

I suppose if I bugged him enough he could give me one, I just buy it from him, I think he gets a store discount, iono its been a while.

ESRB IS necessary. Believe me I had a big project about media violence. And it is really up to each person how you become affected or not. The ratings are here too show the parents what to expect from a game and they can make the decision if it is good or bad for their children.

If your parents trust you and think it's ok that's great, but playing M rated games are not good for everyone.

Getting angry at ratings is just silly. Sure it is annoying that you can't buy the game, but just ask a older friend or your parents.
