If it's so "offensive," than why do other black people say it to each other? ******. I don't technically "use" it in the sense of how hicks use it, but on occassion I do.

Ya. I've used it before in jokes and whatnot.

But if an individual can't take a joke, then I don't really think they're worth my time .

For example, there's a song, sung by a BLACK MAN that is called "Hood Nigga".

I call myself a "Hood Nigga" at lunch, and act really stupid while singing a verse of the song sometimes.

People think it's fairly funny. .

And absolutely agreed with Bully:

This is something that nobody has ever really come up with a good answer to. Blacks can call each other "******" but we can't?

I get so tired of this racial crap, acting like we have to make up for the mistakes of our forefathers.

And if you think about it, the logic that tells WHITE men can't say "******" but blacks can is entirely racist. So in a way, they're contradicting themselves by saying white's, or any other race, can't say a racial slur, but they can call each other it and it's suddenly not racist.

It's like black men can say it, no other race can, which is obviously saying that we can't say it because of our color, and yet they complain about groups being racist against them.

Wow, we actually agree on something.

I also heard somewhere that "******" actually meant ignorant. It actually makes sense since they were looked downed upon (Obviously) and how they "lacked" knowledge compared to white men.

I halfway doubt that, but I got no proof against it, so who knows.

All I can say about this word is that it should either be able to socially acceptably be used by all, or by none.

That's why I didn't assume it, but if you do think about it, it makes pretty logical sense.

Agreed. It just shouldn't be considered a racial slur. Especially since white people can be called "Cracker," "Honky," "White Boy," etc, and not be called racist when another race says it. But if we say "******," we're all the sudden the most racist pieces of **** ever.
