The reaper seems to blend with the background too much.

Not sure what to suggest to fix that.......maybe a red BG?

If it looked more foggy, I would give it a 10/10, but because it doesn't, like Zen just said, it blends too much. 6/10.

That's a little better, yes.

Try to make the background a shade of red for a moment, I just want to see what it'd look like.

Yeah, I think it made it look better, thanks. Guess I learned a lesson from this, don't make the background the same colour as the focal point O.o
