okay so by now you people know how much i loved the old thunder force games. well this morning i read this.

As of June 2008, Tecnosoft's web site has displayed the text "New THUNDERFORCE Coming Soon!" Famitsu announced Thunderforce VI in July 2008. The game will be developed and published by Sega under the direction of tez okada, and is currently to be released for PS2 in October.

there WILL be a new thunderforce game, as to how much they keep from the old games i dont know, and its not quite the next-gen thunderforce i had hoped, but its still an amazing breakthrough.

*plugs in my ps2 again*

They still make PS2 games? That's pretty rad. Too bad they didn't up it to the next generation.

I never played these games personally but I hope it doesn't disappoint.

i also just read the october release is japan only, and no EU or US date has been announced.

they better not make it a japan-only title >.>

i could, but they all lag >.<

if i am right they wont sell it in the UK or in the US, since i cant imagine many companies will want rights on a ps2 game when next gen consoles are out.

this means im going to need to import a japanese ps2 and a game
