Try using Game Maker. It is pretty good and straight forward. Also is this RPG Maker XP free? If so link me to it and I will give it a try.

it takes a few days to make a decent game with gamemaker, all u need are sprites rest is pretty straight forward

yea i know lol. atm the longest game i made was about 5 miniutes long. and that took me about 2 days. and RPG maker xp is free to try but costs £60 for the ful version if you keep it legit | |||||||||||
