Yes. Overclocking is basically overworking your computer parts, gaining speed (in Mhz) on CPU, GPU (video card), RAM (memory), and various other components. The various other ones are not supposed to be oc'ed. Youll learn more later i bet. When you overwork these pc parts, they get hotter so you need to cool them better. Some keep heatsinks and fans. Others watercool like flclisgreat did in this thread. Anyhow most try to gain speed with the CPU more often than the others. They use settings that are in the BIOS. If you want to read a like huge page full of extrenuating detail, go here.

Lol. That sucks. Let me know when you want another computer. I can get cheaper than dell with overclocking features.

Well there are others here who can help me help you alright. So go there and register, ask some questions about a budget computer and name a price you think is reasonable. They will help you and ill be there too. Sound good. Oh and when you order from this store online called newegg, you can ship all of your stuff together to get a discount on shipping. Also you wont be buying a tower fully loaded. Youll buy parts that match what you want and can afford; not garbage like dell, gateway, etc. have. Sound good.

EDIT you could switchout motherboards, do you know what your CPU is?

ill register on the forum site, i think the cpu is also called the proccessor, am i right, if so i have a 2.79 GHz intel pentium 4 proccessor, its not that fast, or thats what i hear its one of the most basic pentium 4 proccessors it came with the dell and the dell is about 3 or 4 years old, and i will probaly upgrade it to a better one when i get the money, on ur site do u have tutorials on changing the proccessor, and also i have 512 mb of ram, and need to upgrade to either 1 gig or 2 for a cheap price
