HELP - Dungeon Siege 2

I am wonderig if someone here could help me.. I am trying to play Dungeon Siege on the PC via a LAN cable.. now the game used to work..but today when we want to play again it's not working.. it's not the cable or connection because we've tried other games and they work fine...

What happens is.. we log into the game..in the lobby the other person can see me listed as a player..but i can't see them..when i HOST the game..there is no games listed in the game list on the other computer..any ideas anyone ????

I betting that is either a settings error (go fix the game's settings/options), or a connection error. You said you looked it over but ill have you look again. What kind of connection is setup.

A. Crossover cable.
B. Hub/Router.
C. You dont know.

Well after tweaking many settings..removing the cable and putting it back in..and all the usual checklist LOl.. it turns out it was a patch for the game we needed to download.. for some reason it fixed the problem Installing the patch to bring it upto version 2.2 instead of version 2.0

so anyone played the Expansion pack for Dungeon Siege. We completed the game last night so are waiting on the expansion pack now!
