I used to play them, but it was on an old computer and it would go really, really slow if I tried a big map with a lot of players. I never really liked doing the missions but the skirmishes were great. | |||||||||||

really old thread, but it just so happens that i bought red alert 2 and yuri's revenge today - one of the best game storylines of the time i think =] crap graphics, and even the newer ones are pretty shoddy, but it means everyone can enjoy em at least =]

Is red alert 2 the FPS? Because I remember at least one of them transformed from an RTS into an FPS...it looked pretty cool. | |||||||||||

noooooooo Renegade was the FPS, and it wasnt great lol nahh red alert 2 was all about the soviet invasion of new york to start off. Einstein used a time machine to go back and kill Hitler before WW2, but this meant that the soviet armies would build faster, and they launch an attack on new york fantastic-ly complicated storyline lol

Well, it's an old game. Of the course the GFX aren't the best...o.o Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun were the best.

Generals was okay, but it didnt have a great storyline, and i hate that they cancelled Red Alert 3 to do C&C 3 instead =[ Red Alert 1 & 2 are a couple of the most loved strategy games available =]

Red Alert 3 was not canceled, and it will not be long before it is released.  COMMAND & CONQUER RED ALERT 3
