I've got Crysis for Christmas, and a new computer. I installed Crysis on my Vista, and it intstalled perfectly fine, I got into Main Menu of the game, and started to play it. But before I could start to play, the sound disappeared from the game completely, and I don't know what to do?

dunno what to say really, check the audio is set up correctly in the options, check that the audio is set up correctly under vista... and see what happens.

ps crysis is a great game you wont be let down, just watch out for the end level lol)

hmm your sound card is probably not enough to play. Set your audio in System settings in game to low and if not get a new sound card. Also make sure to check the connections such as if you have a sub woofer and multiple speakers check you input, output and stuff like that in your speakers. If it doesnt work then i dont know...

Thanks for help, I put everything on low/medium and decreased resolution, and the sound came back!!!

It's a codec problem. My friend experienced the same thing, and he asked me for help. All you have to do is download a codec pack, which then allows the sounds from Crysis to play. The other problem might be with IRQ, which you probably can't fix.

theres a quick way round that one - just turn autosave off before the last level and it gets past it fine. STrangely, if you have an unpatched version of the game, it doesnt stall on the TAC cannon =]

Well, Crysis doesn't come with the codecs included? Codecs are only like 1-2mb....That's not good.

Get a new game and see if that helps
