right so i have played all the way through crysis.... gone through the last level, got to "the last stand"... the VERY last part of the game.

i have a TAC gun, which is what you need to take out the final enemy, yet the tac gun doesnt work, it cant lock and cant fire.... and that is the only way to complete the game.

what do i do?

i dont need a walkthough, i checked elsewhere and i found the problem.

its not me being a noob as you may think.

in the final level, there is a problem with the autosave causing the tac gun not to work correctly, people have fixed this issue by disabling the quicksave feature and restarting the reckoning level, which i intend to do later on today.

which enemy? The giant ship thing? The alien with 5 legs you have to kill using rockets and guass gun and stuff like that. The enemy after that is the giant thing on the side of carrier which you have to fire the tac into its mouth so lock on it when it opens mouth.... i dont know more than that. Besides i finished the game.

the big guy lolz.... you need to stop the turrets then destroy it, but the tac gun doesnt work... i dont mean it doesnt destory it.... it doesnt load and cant fire =/

and although i know what the problem is... i think... i have no idea how to turn off autosave coz it isnt in any of the menus

Replay the part before you get the tac, because the same thing happened to me. The doors would not open to capn so replay the part were u got tac cannon.

Check your keybindings (aka your controls). I guarantee that that is most probably the problem. Different weapons sometimes have different controls, which can cause some problems. The other option is to use a game integrity checker to make sure that none of the files were corrupted or edited.

tac gun = cant shoot without locking on first.
