Not for noobs. If you don't know what a fecking torrent is, go toss yourself. I MAY edit this later for clarity.

USING A HALO NO-CD CRACK WILL F THIS UP AND CONNECT YOU TO SOME OTHER BOOTLEG SERVER. USE A FECKIN MINI-IMAGE.

1. Get the torrent.
halo || isoHunt - World's largest BitTorrent and P2P search engine
Third hit. "Halo: Combat Evolved" 612mb

2. Download the torrent.
Use whatever client you wish.

3. Mount the iso. Use Daemon Tools, Alcohol sucks anus.
Pay version:
daemon tools || isoHunt - World's largest BitTorrent and P2P search engine
First hit.

Free version:
Google daemon tools, and install it along with their tossing shareware advertising spyware crap.

4. Install it. Use any of these cd-keys:
D6VR8-H6QPT-Q7VFY-RMPPC-HGKHW
TMYW6-MXKXX-GFBK6-G48PM-KTBFB

4a (Optional). If you want to save diskspace, delete the Halo ISO you downloaded, and get the mini-image off this page:
Halo: Combat Evolved No-CD Patches & Game Fixes- GameBurnWorld
That will allow you to run the game, but will not let you install it off that disc. Use it if you want to save about 600megs of space.

5. Run the game. Go to internet game. Click join game. Let it update. After it updates, try again. Make sure that you can get to the internet list (Don't bother joining a game, it will say CD-key invalid.)

6. Get the dedicated server patch:

I know it says upgrade. It works. I use it. So get over it. xD Extract it, and select haloded.exe (You may not see the exe bit.)

7. Copy it to your halo directory, (Usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Combat Evolved
Or just Halo. I can't remember.

8. Overwrite any existing files, and run the haloded.exe file. Ignore any warnings that says SVefault or some crap. Everyone gets it.

9. Run Halo, and play online.

10. Play with me and Gamma, and btw, SOME servers will say older version, some will say invalid cd-key, but 80% will not. Have fun with your free copy of Halo. If it says invalid cd-key over and over, which happens sometimes, just re-run Haloded.exe, restart Halo, create a game, exit, and try again. That always fixes it for me.

EDIT:
If you already have it installed, skip to step 5.
If you already have it installed and legit, skip to infinite, and play with us.

Also, any cd-key will work with this, and any iso.

Lol , I skipped to Number 5, And installed the patch, But all it says is Using Profile Path & Some other thing that said, Gathering Exception Data, Then it goes away and leaves the "Using Profile Path" window open, You call that a patch? lol.

What do i do? lol?

And it still says i need the CD Key, Lmao, Read's it all again

All that should have happened is that a DOS window popped up, saying something like:

default max players 16

Or something. If you're using a no-cd crack from my last Halo thread, re-install Halo. That causes that.

, I still get an error, Not from the patch but when i start up the game

Any ways, If i only get the error from the one i downloaded from Download.com, I will download another copy of Halo from a torrent.
