What Do you think about the new Super Mario Brothers for Wii?

This game is a blast. There are some really tough levels for one person. I would recommend getting a buddy and play together. my wife and I are in world 6. And if you want insanity get three other friends to join you. mass chaos!!!!! The controls are great, the level design is great, there really is nothing I don't like about this game. wish it had some online ability would be its only drawback. If you own a Wii this is a must buy. so what do you think???

I bought this game and played it with my friend. I don't think we've ever laughed so hard while playing a game

At first we were like "Okay, no grieving, no assholing around and no backstabbing". 20 minutes in all promises had been broken hundredfold :P

Seriously, it's crazy fun. You'll be surprised at how much an extra player changes the experience. Things can either end up amazingly smooth or hilariously bad, either way, it's a blast.

Haven't gone at it on my own yet, I really see no point. It's a party game in disguise, and a damn good one. I can only imagine how fun it would be to play while drunk

Yeah, my brother is getting it for christmas and it's one of the biggest things i'm looking forward to on christmas day (except my nan's amazing cooking).
I'm getting a few people round and playing it 4 player for sure, i can imagine it being so much fun. Looking forward to the best fo sho.

I think it looks pretty good. Depending on how much it costs, I might consider getting saving up for the Wii.

I really like it, although it's not as hard as Nintendo said, some levels are annoying, but not many, even the bowser fights are easy as long as you don't panic and think about it for a second.

Definitely a step up from the previous Mario bros...it looks pretty well done, and they're using the Wii capabilities and motion sensors to great effect, which isn't too bad either.

You can play up to 4 people in a level I assume?

Good game but the difficulty was set to like super beginner, would have enjoyed it better if it was longer and not so easy.

I've got it on DS I dunno if it is the same as the Wii but it is pretty good on the DS.

Yeah you can.

It could have been improved by internet capability.
That's one thing i like about it, they didn't go over the top and irritating with the amount of motion controls, they kept it nice and simple to use.

When Nintendo announced this at E3, I was pissed. They gave a long speech that is usually reserved for Zelda games, and then announced New Super Mario Bros...for the Wii. Was this some sort of sick joke? But after watching my little brother play it, and having to help him on the relatively hard-as-balls levels, it's safe to say I spoke too soon.

See, other than the internet play lacking, the other thing that annoyed me about it was that they advertised it as some sort of impossibility, when really, it was quite easy. And if you have 2 or 3 people it becomes nearly impossible to die.

Hence my use of the word 'relatively.' The way they tried to add difficulty to some levels just made them stupid and annoying.

I played this game at a friend's house. Honestly, I don't get the appeal. Mario Bros. just doesn't seem like the kind of game meant for multiplayer. Playing with other people just means more obstacles for you to have to try to navigate around, and it just gets irritating.

And one of my friends says that the single player is really fun and that the multiplayer is pretty much the worst part of the game, but I just think it's a bit funny that the game's major selling point is the part you're not supposed to play.

It's true, with 4 people it becomes impossible to jump without bumping one of your team mates into the air and probably dying. However, the 'suicide bubble' makes up for it making almost any level impossible to fail.

LMAO, that arguments happens all the time.

I thought you were meant to throw each other down holes and at monsters, it never said it was a co-op mode.

Nintendo WII is the best you can get both worlds you can persuade your mom to play with and in time she will be addicted no errands for me..lol
