Seriously; it might not be that great a game, but a lot of people make some incredible friends in these kinda places.

It's like when SWG hit the sh*tter.

Even though this is a one-post person, I'm letting it slide for something like this.

I would like to explain the reason were so upset about the closing of the game. Most of the players in the game have been playing since it was in beta 6 years ago. Everyday we have been in there running houses.. take care of other sims, After that much time passing some very good friendships have been created our game pretty much has become a part of our daily lives. For some people that are disabled and our game is their only socialization they get. Last year they brought in a new Dev team to revitalize the game. Ea sent emails out to old players asking them to come back... and they did and were commin back because of the new updates to the game. (ea had abanded it years ago but left the servers up). Its only been 2 months since the merge of all the cities and the promise to the older sims if they come back they would restore all their yearly gifts and locks ( very important in our game.) Players did in fact come back. The Day before Amenesty was scheduled to happen we got a message on the Devs blog saying there would be no more updates and that they were closing our game! This outraged players to no end. Some of us have been working and playing this game for 6 years to have it pulled out of the blue. Updates were happening weekly there was nothing indicating an end to the game. One of the recent updates to the game was an atm where you could buy sim money straight from ea players supported it and paid real cash for game money. To be told 2 months later, GAME OVER!

I hope this helps you undersand just a little bit why we are so upset and want our game to stay alive. What ea has done to us isnt right and we truely love our game. People are actually so upset because of the tight nit online community that we have that their shedding tears over this. So please help us fight the game giant EA and keep our game running.

To say the least all of our players are heart broken. Outraged. They have takin us on an emotional rollercoaster for the last year. Everyone was so hyped about getting the new stuff and Bam! we got hit with game closing.
They wont even sell the game so the players can buy it from them.

We have until Aug 1, 2008 to get people together to fight them so please if anything sign the petition for us please!

Why would they close it? EA Company goin Bankrupt like Atari ? That sure would suck.
