I downloaded Fallout 3 and I keep getting this "XLive.dll is not working" BS. I've done EVERYTHING I can to get this game to work. I've downloaded the patches, I used the games for windows disabler and everything. Nothing has worked and I've been working on this thing since 11 O' clock and it's 4:15 right now. Still no prevail. Anything yall know how to fix on this thing?

Put the DLL in your C/Windows/System32 folder, open up Command Prompt and enter this:

regsvr32 xlive.dll

And press enter. Get back to me on whether or not it works.

Lol. I deleted everything to do with that game. I got so irritated I just gave up and when on a deleting binge. I freed up about 20+ GB on the binge though. Wasn't all bad :P. I may download it again and try what you said. Thanks for the help!

I got it. All I did was re-download & re-install the game. Got another missing .dll error message, DL'd THAT dll and then it worked!.

Lolz, Me too. I'm on level 19 now. First leg of the new mission after getting the satelite for GNR. I'm stuck and don't know how to get rivet city. I started to figure it out a bit and then "Fallout 3 Has Stopped Working". I was quite mad lol. Guess I'll give it another go soon.

For Rivet City just go to the Brotherhood hideout thing (forgot what it's called, the citadel or something) and just keep walking south. You can't miss it, it's a giant ship.

Should have just bought it, it's pretty cheap.

Thanks for the help everyone! I found Rivet City & The Memorial, now I'm off to find dad lol. I would have bought it if I had the money . I spent all my money on the computer itself xD.
