Xbox360 Vs PS3 Vs PC, Which one???

Ok, i need some help deciding between:
an Xbox360,
a PS3
or
a Computer of around the $500US mark (btw thats around £250 GBP), altho can you even get a decent computer for that price???
any help will be appreciated

You'd be hard-pressed to find a decent gaming computer for $500. I'd suggest you spring for the console, but it's really up for debate which one you should get. Personally, I'd suggest the 360, but it's really your own preference.

Which has the exclusives you wanna play more? and yeah, your not gonna find a good gaming pc for that price. . Also what system's do most of your friends have? Getting the same one's they have means you get to borrow games and play with them online.

umm most my friends have a 360, and i love halo.
Atm i only have a PS2, Wii and DS, none of which compeat with the 360, PS3, im just wondering are there any games that make the PS3 worth getting? (i know thats based on opinon, but thats what i want atm lol)

I'd go for the Xbox 360 because their prices have dropped dramatically and are much cheaper than the PS3.

^ Not strictly true over here, the prices don't differ that much, especially when you take LIVE membership into consideration.

You won't get a decent gaming computer for £250, i spent like £500 on mine about a year ago and it won't play most new games.

But still, if all your freinds have a 360 and you want to play Halo, that seems like as much of a reason as any to get a console.
Personally, i prefer the PS3's games and just the system in general tbh, but you just have to look at it and see for yourself which suits you more.

I am for PC personally. I've touched my 360 like 50 times in the two years that i've owned it. So many FPS'ers. fucking lame...

Well, a PC isn't exactly a games console but seeing as it counts in this thread then yeah, I'd go for the PC, Xbox 360 a close second, then the PS3 and then 100 miles away from that, the shitty Nintendo Wii.

Well, which country do you live in? Because if you live in a different country to me then your prices are probably higher.

Well even though a PC is more it can do a lot more then games, if you buy a descent one every year you could do a GFX card update for around 70$ and keep nearly up to date for a while, I had my pc for around 5 years with little upgrades over time like ram,GFX card..etc

If your buying one i would recommend CyberPowerPC - Unleash The Power

Also not to mention getting the games free is easy as shit, on the pc.

Ps3 is a good system, but if your friends play 360 and you love halo, then you better go with 360.. . Your not gonna be playing halo on ps3.

I have had all 3 of the above but I sold my PS3 for the one simple reason that I didnt like the online experience, true they have changed it since then but now there is little point in me buying one back. I prefer Xbox just for the live parties and all my mates basically have one, saying that there are a few games coming out for ps3, M.A.G namely one of them which may make me consider rebuying it. (:

If I could afford it, I would have a Godly Gaming computer. Seeing as to how I was preparing for the Blu-Ray A-Bomb, I got a Ps3 and am thoughly satisfyed. Not to mention I love the Ps3's media servers capablities. :3

Get a 360 because they are awesome. Who needs internet on the PS3 when you have a computer with workable internet? Oooh blue tooth, so awesome. Not really. Just get a console that plays games. Also, a PC would require buying new video cards, sound cards, and other various items.
