Who is your favorite author?

Once again the title says it all. To the sight impaired the title asks, "Who is your favorite author?"

Anyways, it doesn't matter how many authors you post. The only thing that does matter is that you did post. Keep posting all you like, that's what this thread is here for.

Dan brown is a good author because of the Davinci code. But I can't consider him as my favorite author because I haven't read all of his books.
JF tolkien is also good, I like the lord of the rings serie very much.

Well that's all I can say for now.

Great choice with Tolkien. I love his Lord of the Ring series, truly epic. Who is Dan Brown? I never heard of him. If i like how he sounds, then please tell me the names of some of his works, i'd like to check them out for read. Anyways, Richard A. Knaak is probably my favorite author at the moment. But there are many others contending for the title, such as Mary Shelly (glikh was right when he said Frankenstein was a good book), and Frank Herbert. The Dune series kick so much ass.

Edna Buchanan-She wrote Miami, It's Murder; Pulse, The Garden of Evil, and a bunch of others. They're pretty much homicidal and suicidal books. All about cops and forensics and detectives figuring who killed the person and what not. They're very well told.

At first I was very Hesitant about the book, Figured it would be boring. But after I started reading it, I decided that the book was awesome. The book just disscusses How nintendo became nintendo really. Explains how All the companies were fighting over the rights to tetris. IT you want to know just gio out and read it.

Hey Flclisgreat, Isn't it the Dark Towers series? Anyways, if we're talking about the same books then how are the Dark Tower books? Never got around to reading them, but have heard some good things about the series.
