everyone says Ubuntu is better but Xubuntu runs quicker and take up less harddrive space. so how is Ubuntu better, i dont get it, are there any advantages? please explain.

well im using ubuntu and i can put desktop effects on it like the window fire and splash, so i guess in xubuntu you cant do that, cause isnt xubuntu for business?

No, Xubuntu is basically a light version of Ubuntu, this is what i don't understand, everyone says its just as good, but uses less space, so why get Ubuntu at all?

well i think, (emphasizing think), that ubuntu has alot of capability right off and xubutu you can basicaly build to your needs not get everything ready to go.
