if i played bass i would learn bass tapping cuz that requires lots of skill to be good also guitar world (magisine) had an articule on the differences in bass strings you could probably google and find it, The article said like whats good for tapping and all that other stuff. | |||||||||||

Metallica is simply one of the best bands out there, but I wouldn't try and master their bass lines yet. You can try any Nirvana songs. Especially "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Easy bass line for any beginners. | |||||||||||

Arma, have you ever heard of the song "shut up and let me go" by the ting tings? Its an alright song, but the bass line is perfect for someone like you to play.

what, one note? no point in learning it. mmm, im looking for some easy bass stuff to learn as well, atm im doing punk cos its simple, standard tuning (i dont like having to tune my bass, i dont know why) but fast.
