Mostly Hip-Hop, which I believe is a seriously underestimated genre.
Yaya, many people have heard songs from U-Unot, Lil Wancker and that Flo Rida, Jay-Z guy +++ ... but that`s NOT Hip-Hop.

I mostly listen to:

A Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Nas, Big L, Talib Kweli, Immortal Technique, Rakim, Coolio, Wu-Tang Clan, BTNH, Dead Prez ... +++ Nas, The Game +++

Btw, just by reading some of the comments in this thread I can see how little some of you know about Hip-Hop.

for some that may be true, but for others it deffinatly isnt, we just dont like it. We would rather listen to our own music.

I would like to see what you know about differant sub-genres of rock.

Of course, old school Hip-Hop is mostly based on discrimination, classicism, racism, how poor people live and so on and on. I understand that those who don`t live or haven`t lived like that or with that - won`t like Hip-Hop.

I don`t know about many sub genres of Rock, because the only rock genres I listen to are PM with Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, DragonForce and Manowar. Also some Gothic rock with Evanescence. I also listen to Linkin Park.
There are a lot of sub genres but those are the only ones I listen to.

although the first linkin park album will be a classic in nu-metal for time to come, meteora was kinda meh and their last album was obismal, any album with an average bpm of 20 should not be bought -_-

Personally at times I can't stand metal (screamo ones), and tune into some old school hip hop, and sometimes it's the opposite...

In reality I listen to EVERYTHING....and anything..

I'm more or less into anything rocky, with some metal thrown in.
But I listen to the occasional hip hop or other style.

I just abhor RnB and country.
And screamo and deathmetal.
Just ugh.

Yeah, quite a different musical taste. The main offput to modern Hip-Hop is it's gang related culture and it's whole mainstream, I can't stand mainstream music.

Some country isn't bad....especially some of the mainstream artists....Kasey Chambers is sort of country and has some pretty good tracks.

I don't like Screamo at all, but that doesn't mean it sucks
