I guess given the situation, some people were aware that they were trolling to a degree, even if it was a formulated opinion.

Blu Monkey for instance, with his "opinion" about Elliot Smith, which I'd like to point out was pretty harsh at best, and not to mention troll worthy.

It would be a shame to see this thread closed, theres nothing wrong with a bit of controversy and I do say a "bit", but not when it comes close to constant arguing, and I mean the "bad" kind.

Lol, the thing is that you attacked a band that I like ALOT, so it was natural to counter-act, but to go further on and include my music taste, kind of took the piss out of it, don't you think.

Meh, there's not point in handing out warnings, if you don't learn from them, which I just don't see happening lol.

I heard one song from them, with the original singer, Serj Tankjan, which was alright, but I guess Metal isn't my cup of tea.

i mearly said some people think there style of music is the only ones that trigger "emotion", these people tend to be the "scene/emo" people, who think screaming about how much pain they are in is the only way to get any emotion.

when things like joe satriani, or just about any song ever written, has emotion in it, differant songs do differant things for differant people. and that people who think that there music is the only way are noobs at music
