Well, I was thinking it might be a good idea to give Senior Members the power to delete a shout. Now, you would think, they aren't moderators, we can't trust them to use the power fairly. They would have to agree to the fact that the power would be used ONLY on spam, and afterwards, an account such as reporter would auto-create a thread containing the original shout. This would help the forum for when staff aren't on, and the shoutbox gets spammed. >.> Plus, anyone would abuses it could get it removed, and it would be safe if we knew what they were deleting. So, is this a good or a bad idea, in you guy's opinions?

well.....We cant have reporter make a thread upon deletion. I dont think there is such an option to do so. Also the shoutbox has a predefined user group ID # set in for mods to only do that. In order to allow senoirs to edit it is to edit the main file and that could F up the shoutbox if I or lozoot do it wrong. | |||||||||||

Meh. I agree, too much of a risk. Plus, it's pretty easy to get 300 posts and be a senior member...and as we all know, the shoutbox can be a big deal... Seniors just need to work their way up, I believe. I say, since we have none currently, we should make FdK and Jorgi post-team....it's the first step towards mod status.

Agreed, but not the thread for it. >.> If it's that difficult, nevermind. I just figured that spam would be instantly pwnd from this.
