The first 5 the one before the / means the # of warning you will get before infracted the 5 after the / is the points of infraction you will get after the warnings are used up. Rules (10 points is automatic restriction) 1. First of all don't SPAM. SPAM stands for Stupid, Pointless, Annoying, or Meaningless messages/threads. If you spam, then your post or thread will be deleted. You cannot ever spam. Also you cannot post any link until you have reached 25 or more posts. (Spamming will result in 0/5 and after 1st offense automatic ban) 2. Don't double post. Unless nobody posts in your topic for more then 1 day, then it is allowed. (1/3) 3. Don't post useless messages to get a higher post count or else you will be warned and I will lower your post count. Legit posts include asking for help, helping, or contributing in some way to the post. Posting a link in the news section with an update is an example of contributing. (2/3) 4. If you want to apply for staff, then post when Leon or Emanrian posts a thread asking for staff. Do not PM other staff or post in a forum other that the advertising section. You will be noticed if you deserve the position. Do not harass staff to make you staff. 0/1 5. Don't shout at each other in topics or in the Shoutbox. It is extremely impolite, and ugly. This is called post wh0ring. (1/3) 6. Always be polite to members and staffs alike. 1/1 7. We do not allow porn (text or pictures) because there are members of all ages. (Will result in automatic PERMA ban) 8. We do not tolerate flaming people, including but not limited to the following reasons: Race, Religion, medical problems, disabilities, ideals, English capabilities, and so forth.. 0/5 9. Please do not make multiple accounts. If we find that you did they will be deleted immediately. You will also never be able to post here ever again, due to an IP ban. 10: Don't advertise in the shoutbox. Also don't shout smilies over and over again. It is bad for site performance. (1/5) 11: Trolling is when you try to get someone to flame you. For example "The Wii sucks and you suck for liking the Wii". Something like that is trolling. We will not tolerate it anymore. You will get a five point infraction for it for the first time you do it. If you do it again you will be banned for a period of time. Then if you do it a third time then its a PERMA BAN. 12: You may advertise in your signature when you have reached 25 posts in the forum. You link may not be a banner and the link also must not be noticeable. Ex. CLICK HERE wouldn't be an exception. Something like "Click here" would be though. If you do not have 25 posts and you have a link to something, it will be removed by a staff member. If you put that link back and still don't have 25 posts you will be infracted. If you still put it back then an Administrator will remove your ability to have a signature. 13: Bad language is not allowed and will be blocked out by our censor. you will receive a warning for continual swearing, and if you continue swearing after the warning, you will receive a custom infraction of how many points the member of staff thinks you deserve. STAFF RULES Due to the out of control situation among the staff i need to put these in effect. Also its out of control among the members. If this doesn't get fixed I'm going to become Lozootmaniac and get ban happy. 1. All Mods/Super mods must follow the Infraction system when disciplining users. The only time you do not use the infraction system is if its a spammer with no legit posts. Or you have permission from an admin. 2. You must never abuse your powers. EX. banning people for no reason. 3. All Mods must listen to all Super Mods, unless its going against any forum rules or abusing powers. If any super mod does that it must be reported to an admin ASAP. 4. If you ban someone and you don't state why in the message to show the user you must make a report in "User Bans and Reports" with the quote and reason. 5. Only Administrators are allowed to delete anything in the "Spam Thread Archives" and "User Bans and Reports." 6. I understand trolling is hard to identify. If you think someone is trolling please ask a super mod or an administrator. 7. If a member reports something being said in a PM by a staff member that would go against the rules, an administrator reserves the right to read the PM VIA admin CP with out the offender's permission. 8. Please know the difference between ban and restricted. you can find that when you go into Ban CP and click the drop down menu. it will say "restricted." 9. Mods and super mods must read considered post wh0ring threads carefully before infracting the person. There have been wrongful infractions do to mods not paying attention. I will be cracking down one this. 10. No staff is to ever make fun of another staff or member of this forum. Regardless of how much English they know, grammer mistakes, religion, ethnicity or how they act. 11. All Super Mods are required to hang out with other members, both staff and non-staff, when they are in their general location. Failure to do this will result in being instantly perma banned from Gamelair. (This is a joke. 12. All staff must obey the normal rules. If there are any questions or concerns please ask an administrator. I'd prefer you to put it into your own words so you don't have to. A FYI Those of you that use imageshack, your pictures will not show here. Why you may ask? We have banned imageshack photo from ever working here. There servers are so slow at loading content that it slows down our site when trying to load there hosted photos. I suggest you use photoshop or are own image hosting. Most important! Don't pretend to be an Administrator or Moderator.
