Time Settings are wrong.

When i click my time zone which is EST -5 hours, it says 8 PM when in fact it is 3 PM. Is there a fix for this. It drives me nuts when the time confuses me.

I adjusted mine first and it seemed to work fine.

I went in and adjusted yours, let me know if you have the correct time displayed.

All times are GMT +1. The time now is 04:43 PM. is what it says now which is right time but wrong setting.

GMT is a European Time Zone setting, all settings follow a GMT base. So as long as your time is posting right for you, don't let the GMT setting at the bottom of the screen confuse you.

You guys sure do get alot of spam. You should threaten with your hosts lawyers in your AUP.

BTW. Do you guys get slashdotted(<link) enough around here or what. You should get a guest area where they can post so you can encourage guests to register.

We try to keep on top of Spammers by editting and deleting threads/posts and then banning that person.

But as we know all too well, some will get through before a Mod. noticing. That's why we ask a member such as yourself to notify any Mod. (a username in bold) by PM or in the Shoutbox, so that the issue can be addressed immediately.

As far as your suggestion about the guest area...sounds like a good idea.
PM the suggestion to "Rated", he'll examine all implemantation options.

You can always adjust your time in your options in your User CP.

I know how annoying are these spammers? That's why i added email confirmation on register, but that only prevented legitimate people signing up lol..

Try the GMT Western Europe...seems to have worked for a few ppl.

Adjust your time zone settings...goto:

UserCP - Edit Options

Change the setting to Western Europe. If this doesn't work, adjust accordingly by hourly difference between time displayed and actual time.
