From Dusk Till Dawn.

Ah man, I just watched this yesterday for the first time in about year. It's definitely my favorite vampire film directed by Robert Rodriguez. It stars George Cloony and Quentin Tarantino as the Gecko brothers, two fugitives who have just robbed a bank the day in which the setting takes place in. It also stars Harvey Keitel as Jacob Fuller, an ex-minister, along with his son and daughter.

So the Gecko brothers have just robbed a bank in Texas and are wanted by all of Texas and the F.B.I. After the first scene which takes place in a Liquor Store, the Gecko's stop at a Motel with a women who they've taken hostage from the Bank. While Seth (Clooney) goes out for a drive to check out the border, Richard (Tarantino) rapes and kills the hostage. So two fugitives on the run, they meet up with the Fuller family who own an R.V. at the Motel. They kidnapped them to get past the border in to Mexico and to a bar called the Titty Twister to meet with other criminals. Now the Gecko's plan is to wait for a guy named Carlos in the morning, in which they will release the Fuller family and live happily ever after.

At the bar/strip-club in which they are all staying at, it turns out that the employees are all Vampires. And they have "From Dusk Till Dawn" to survive.

This film is full of action. It's incredibly gory like Planet Terror with excellent performances. I could watch this everyday if I could, the entertaiment value is just extroidanary. It is also hilarious at many parts.

All though the vampires remind me more of zombies, it's really worth the watch. Even if you don't like most vampire/zombie films, you've got to see this, especially if you liked Planet Terror. The thrills are just amazing and awesome.

So watch it.

I've also seen it, like 3 times. The last girl of the show was actually looking very good. xD Although I didn't think they like zombies, they looked normal in human form, then went to some ghoul crap.

I wouldn't say they looked much like vampires when they change though...

Agreed. They looked like some ghoul thing. And I thought that they didn't even look like vampires, they looked like humans.

Well I didn't mean they looked like Zombies, but they only looked like Vampires in human form. I don't know how to explain the other side of them. But they bit the people everywhere; neck, legs, arms, like zombies. The average vampire in films only bite's the neck.

Only thing that proves to you that they're vampires are them mentioning it, stakes, burning up when dead completely, and them getting killed by sunlight.

I haven't even seen 30 Days of Night and I can answer that; no. As a matter of fact, I don't think any vampire in any movie are relevant to the vampires in this one.

All though you can consider it an exaggeration, I'd give it a ten. Personally, I like it a little better than Planet Terror, which is saying a lot.

Definitly watch it, all though it does take a major turn from the first-half until when they get to the bar which is kind of unexpecting.

Personally, I think D2D was a pretty good movie...but not in the whole traditional-vamp style. Definately a more ugly-swollen-zombie style.
Being a traditionalist when it comes to vamps, I found it too feral to reflect the vamps I prefer. There was no style to them uknow? Good all the same, but more one to watch with mates as there is no mystery to them no elegance or such.
I'd rate it prob' 8/10. But thats more because Tarantino is in it

HUH!! I saw Planet Terror and it was Over Exaggerated....You can't just put a rifle on somebodies leg without any equipment you know that...And the Zombies...blah blah
