They've already announced there will be either 6 or 8. I can't quite remember; this may be a fake, but there will be at least a shrek 6.

The first one, was a very good one, and a smash, the 2nd one was decent but no where as good as 1, 3 just kind of took the mick out of the whole series.

Haven't seen the 3rd one yet, I was about to, then my friends influenced me saying how CRAP it was, taking their word for it, will see it in the near future.
