thats not a rule, thats me saying how many votes were given before the poll closed.

As for the gfx teams competition, the rules are differant for that and the SOTM

SOTM takes priority, so we keep the poll open for all the time, rather than stopping it at a certain point.

Well until the closing date anyway, which is in 4 days.
