But don't pass the Wii off as a kiddie system, though...it's still got zelda, and the new super smash bros. coming out

yea the wii might be more kid orientated than other consoles, but nintendo have come a long way since the days every game was designed for 5 year olds. i mean you have more games like call of duty out on the Wii.

well, if you say the bad thing about it is the remotes, then there isn't really anything good about it, is there?

He just doesn't like Wii. I think it is an interesting idea but I could live with out the Wii. Also Zelda and Super Smash Bro's are kiddy games, fun, but kiddy.

I played Zelda at my friend's house, and it was fun, but i could pretty much destroy any enemy by just waggling the Wii-mote randomly.
Although, i don't think that zelda and SSB are really kiddy games...

They are. Zelda would be so much more bloody and SSB could be even more violent than it is. They are made for children to play, and they are fun.

lol, yea i guess they are more slightley kid based than other games. but if you think about it each company has there own target audience for there products, and normally the nintendos are aimed at the kiddie market. however the Wii is liked by a lot more older generation than before, i know 50 year olds who love games like metal gear solid and stuff like that, and they love the ii because the graphics might not be best, but it is really fun to play. oh and btw its the irresponible owners, not the remotes that cause damage, i know someone who was playin Wii sports (the tennis game on there) and took a shot and smashed a light because she got to much into it lol

lol that is pretty much awesome. I wish I had a Wii, or really any of the new gen systems. Makes me feel cool owning them.

The Nintendo people are trying to get people from every age group to get a Wii...and they definitely don't want to alienate younger kids whose parents won't buy them bloody video games.
