Who cares about lagging on Christmas? Why would you play during christmas anyways? Shouldn't you be going to parties and stuff and socializing with family? Maybe celebrating Jesus' birthday, I don't know. LOL

But I'd really take XBL over PSN because of organization and like cooleo said half the people don't have mics.

Iono, Im a horror Survivalist gamer so I don't ever go online. I never saw the point, then again I think all FPS's are stupid as hell (Just my opinion don't flip out) and they are a majority of the reason why people are online. So you can boom head shot someone better then the other person and just flame troll and insult the **** out of them for not being as leet as you in a generic shooting game.

To me online gaming is where the magic is. If I didn't have a headset or at least a way to communicate to people, online gaming would totally suck. I just like working with people to achieve a common goal whether it's an FPS or an MMO. I don't need to go against anyone I just like the co-op. And if you don't have anyone to play with there's always the internets.

IF the PSN ever had the same amount of people on it as xbox live does, it would lag like hell.

so on one arguement, you are saying that the PSN network is better because it doesnt lag, it doesnt lag because its never under any strain because nobody uses it, if people used it it would lag more than what the XBL network does.

but on another note, i dont need to use online services on consoles really, that is what i have my PC for.

playing online is good though, so its nice to know its there, but a browser on a console?????? if sony were to spend more time and money making their systems better rather than filling it with things that we dont need i might have considered getting one.

in other words, sony have done to the console market the same as what microsoft have done to the PC market, made a good console.... then fill it with tonnes of useless junk that nobody needs to make it 10x more expensive, and 10x more likely that some things go wrong.

Yup, agreed BluMonky. Co op is amazingly fun. I love to cooperate for the common goal. But there are some problems though. People are too proud thees days to have someone boss over them, and everyone wants to be the boss, so it can be messy.

Fact: It is a easy and simple design.
Opinion: I like simple and easy designs so I like PSN design over xbla

Fact: PSN is free
Opinion: I love free stuff

Fact: PSN never lags for me. Well guess I can't back it up, but it's true.
Opinion: I like it when it doesn't lag.

Fact: PSN gives me what I needs.
Opinion: I like it when I get what I need.

Fact: xbla has more feautures and content.
Opinion: I don't have xbox, so I'm happy with my PSN.

while everyone else is happy playing on XBL or on there trusty PC's.... the PSN will be lacking in activity... poor playstation.

think of it this way, you are on your PC, you have 2 similar games (or the same game on 2 differant servers), one has 10000 people playing online, the other has 100, which do you play?

First of all PSN doesnt lack activity. And it doesn't matter if 2000 or 200 000 plays it as long as there are enough players for 1 match with no wait.

And there are enough people for that trust me
Maximum wait time to find other players for me is about 3-10 seconds, so I couldn't care less if there were 100 or 1000 other games at the same time.


And I am pretty sure Sony will make new servers when more people joins. Sony is more then twice as big as MS and earns over twice the amount.

you are stating that as if it is 100% true, which it isnt. worldwide there are still more XBOX's sold than playstation 3's, and lets face it the ps3 peach period (the part just after its release, when sales are naturally super high) has pretty much ended, and will begin to tail off a little bit.

as for sony getting new servers, i doubt that will happen any time soon.

something annoys me when it comes to playstation fans, even though the ps3 was delayed, and that even now it has still been out for well over a year, people still never say things NOW, every time i see a argument sony fans talk about what will happen in the future, in hope that it gets better..... well a year has gone past and still not any better, don't see any reason why that should change. people dont even say whats certainly happening in future, it is "i think they will" and "they probably will".... if you don't have any facts dont even try to use it as a argument.

Dear Griff you are so wrong

PS3 sells more now then before. PS3 sells more then 360 now. PS3 is about 13 millions now and 360 about 19. And 360 has been out for 17 months longer.
So I would say PS3 is closing in.

And it is better now. Several updates has come and several awesome games is out. I am not afraid to admit that. And I KNOW it will be better as well new technology which makes better sue if BluRay and speeds up games. And more good games will come.

Ps3 kinda sucked at start but now it's great

i thought you said it was brilliant when it was released before.... lol

and read my posts again, i said more 360s have been sold than ps3's, which you said is true... okay.

ps3 sales will pick up a little bit, due to MGS4 and FF13 (although most people who want these games already have a ps3 now), however, they wont be pushed up enough to go past the 360.

then its a simple case of 2 consoles that have gone past the initial craze, the 360 has already slowed down, and the ps3 sales are starting to a little bit, although they jumped up with the recent release of MGS4.... they a
