I didn't feel like bumping the old thread because well yeah...it was kind of different. I just grabbed it on the PC for $20 on Steam, and I've gotten past what I guess would be the first chapter. I just got into Neptunes Bounty. Anyone else have the game/played it? It's really ****ing awesome, to say the least. It hasn't totally lived up to my expectations but it has barely disappointed. Also, is the whole story him trying to save this guys family? I don't want to know the rest I just want to know if there is "the rest".

Nah, you'll just have to wait because there will be a few twist and turns along the way through the story.

| Sincere ![]() | Lol, I wish there was a way you could switch Plasmid powers on the run. Cause early on in the level I set up Electricity, of course, and Telekenisis, and the latter turned out to be totally useless except 2-3 guys with grenades. I'd have much rathered enrage, because somehow I ended up with two Big Brothers in the same room, and that would have been a really fun fight to watch go down.

| Sincere ![]() | Okay, so is this a glitch? I'm at this one part in the level, I can see a big daddy and the little sister or whatever. Every time I kill the big daddy the little girl disappears and than I leave the room and come back and there's another big daddy that I have to kill. I've done it 5 times, and I can't get the ****ing Adam.

Rep Power: 16 | yeah, that's a glitch. . I would have little sisters disappear but all i would have to do is bang the wall thingies that they climb out of and leave, then they'd come back.

| Sincere ![]() | Oh ****, that's probably what they were in... I didn't know you could do that. It's little like brown things on the wall with a hole at the top? Cause those are all over the place. Damn it...do I hit it with the wrench?

Rep Power: 2 | i loved Bioshock. It was great for storytelling alone really - it was like reading an Orwellian novel through the eyes of Edgar Allen Poe, whilst recieving a backrub by Oscar Wilde. It was camp, it was deep and it was both sensible and strange in equal measure. I picked it up because i was bored of playing the same old ****ty FPS games where the strategy overtakes any hint of meaningful storytelling. It is still one of my all time favorite games for showing me just how ****ty COD4 was for story.

| Lord Hokage ![]() | Wow how many Bioshock threads are there? lol. Can't say enough about the game that hasn't already been said. Great graphics, great story, great gameplay, definitely one of the most unique FPS ever made. It's just that good, quite simple. Favorite level will probably have to be Fort Frolic, I appreciated the artistic areas and the missions in that level weren't so bad. | ||

To me it made FPS's much more enjoyable, it shows that when a developer is making a shooter they can think about a little more than the guns. I know it's not the only FPS to be adventurous, but it did it well, and not at the price of financial success. It also added more tactical elements to the game with the hackable bots and the limited supply of EVE and ammo, meaning it was less of a "run and gun", it also had the numerous ways of upgrading. | Lord Hokage ![]() | Well when it comes right down to it, it really is just a run and shoot game, but it's the compelling storytelling, and the addition of the unique plasmids that makes this FPS unique. The splicers aren't that hard...unless they have a weapon on them lol.... The one thing that would probably keep me away from the game, is the scare factor =/
