Actually, it was JUST RECENTLY re-brought to my attention because I saw someone put the original on an old iPod and I was liek wowowoww. Sadly, my 3rd gen Nano can't do ____ yet.

your so effing right, i actually restarted yellow a few weeks ago, it brought the good times back, but i was gutted to find that my link cable has snapped so i cant trade with anyone, NNNOOOOOO!!!!

was it an ipod mini that they got it to work on, if so, PLEASE give me a link to that, my old ipod mini still works

I got Pokemon Pearl, they didn't have Diamond In the shop...And I couldn't be bothered to wait.

I still think the old games are better, I can't bring myself to play It as much as the other. Once I completed It I didn't bother with It anymore, but the other Pokemon games I have I still play and they have over 400 hours on them...

The Pokemon games on the hand held systems, were a let down to me, it really didn't get good until it got to the N64 versions of the Pokemon Stadium.

For me the joy of Pokemon is in the team building. I strategize and think up teams with massive defense then give them corresponding attacks. So as the games went on they got better for me considering in D and P you can have 500+ pokemon, that’s a lot to choose from.

My current team is one of the best (defensively) that can be made I believe.

Giratina (Ghost/Dragon)
Dialga (Steel/Dragon)
Empoleon (Water/Steel)
Shedinja (Bug/Ghost)
Sableye (Dark/Ghost)
Metagross (Steel/Psych)

With:
Shuckle (bug/Rock)
Crobat (poison/flying)

As back-ups

Due to type matchups most of these pokemon have little to no weakness. The combo of dark/ghost provides no weakness so Sableye and Spirtomb Are pretty usefull. Anyway I digress Pokemon, very fun game.

I think that the main reason most people think this is because of the fact that everyone knew the majority of the Pokemon back then.

When there was still just 150, you could tell anyone "Hey dude, I got my Ratata to level 22!"

You can't really do that and have people know what your talking about anymore (nor can you not have people laughing at you

).
