okay for those who dont know who technosoft are, they are the makers of one of my favourite all time games, the thunderforce series... that i once played as a kid on my mega drive (genesis), and i still love the games, and the music too!...

well yea, recently the web domain technosoft.com has been registered, and there is a massive rumour going round that possibly they might be making a comeback, they went out of business a long time ago, infact on the turn off the 21st century, in 2001 it got brought by Pachinko makers Twenty-one Company, effectively ceasing to exist.

well yea, i dont know how reliable this is, but i am incredibly hopefull that they might come back, since it was this company and its games that single handedly shaped my childhood (yes, more than sonic or pokemon ever did)....

it is more than possible that this registered website is nothing more than a elaborate windup, but this optimistic gamer hopes it is something a hell of a lot more.

EDIT: lol after doing some research, it looks like the domain itself was registered in 2006, and only started to update itself a little while after that, and the last minor update being january 2008. with the introduction of the "THUNDERFORCE IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK" and the "WE WILL RESTART SOON"

this makes me believe that my optimism was il-founded and false hope , i still hope maybe one day they will come back but it dont look like it this time

well chances are you have played a game similar, since after thunderforce there has been a LOT of copies of it, and quite a lot of them as online java games.

if you want ill get you a rom of it so you can try it yourself?... its just basically a side scrolling sci-fi shooter

(oh btw, if anyones wondering why iv suddenly started to talk about this game a lot, its because i was looking through my old stuff yesterday and i found all my old megadrive games and i couldnt resist but to get it out ... brang back a lot of memories for me)
