Final Fantasy and its sequel will be released separately across all PAL territories in early 2008 on the PlayStation Portable.

Players can experience the classic gameplay, storylines and characters that gave birth to the Final Fantasy phenomenon. "Re-mastered" exclusively for PSP, Final Fantasy and FFII are the definitive versions of the games that established the biggest RPG brand in the world.

These new editions feature redrawn graphics and character art, exclusive all-new dungeons, 16:9 widescreen visuals and an updated camera view that gives players a new perspective on these two timeless classics that defined the RPG genre.

Final Fantasy story

The tale begins when four young warriors, each possessing a crystal, are summoned to restore the world's harmonious elemental balance. During their voyage, they discover a nefarious entity has created turmoil in the structure of time in order to take control of the world, causing the heroes to travel to places they never imagined possible.

Meh. All of these remasters are for that purpose...anti-emulation. "Get the better verzionzzzz for moneyz!!!!!"

you should be playing the originals...emulated .

The only one that was worth it was FF3 for the DS .
